Explore the open savannah plains of Mikumi during exciting game drives before discovering the tropical forests, waterfalls, and beautiful hiking trails of the Udzungwa Mountains. Enjoy close encounters with nature, breathtaking scenery, and authentic African wilderness while traveling comfortably in a 4×4 pop-up roof safari jeep.

 

Day To day

Day 1
Dar Es Salaam To Mikumi National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked-up then transferred to SGR Station in Dar Es Salaam, Onboard an electricity modern Train towards Morogoro, welcomed by our professional safari guide from our office after Arrival then get transferred toward Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full day game drive while exploring the park’s open plains and wildlife-rich areas. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, antelopes, and many bird species.

You will enjoy your lunch before continuing with your afternoon wildlife exploration.

Later in the evening, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Mikumi To Udzungwa Mountains National Park

After breakfast, you will depart toward Udzungwa Mountains National Park for a guided hiking experience through one of Tanzania’s most beautiful mountain forests.

You will hike through scenic tropical forest trails while enjoying beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, unique plants, monkeys, and different bird species found in the mountains.

During the hike, you will have an opportunity to visit the famous Sanje Waterfalls and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.

You will enjoy your packed lunch during the hiking experience before returning to Mikumi in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Cultural Tour Near Mikumi Then Drive Out To Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast, you will enjoy a short Cultural tour Program in Mikumi, while visiting Maasai village for more cultural immersion.

Later, you will begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam with lunch served along the way towards Morogoro SGR Station, onboard a train and ride towards Dar Es Salaam.

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at your hotel, airport, or preferred location, marking the end of your safari and hiking adventure.
