Sundown Expeditions was born from a genuine love for Tanzania, its wildlife, landscapes, cultures, and the people who make every journey special.

Our story is built on real experience in the tourism industry. Before Sundown, our team gained hands-on experience working in tented camps, lodges, safari operations, and travel companies across Tanzania for more than three years. From managing camp operations and guest services in remote destinations to working as safari consultants in Arusha, these experiences gave us a practical understanding of what it takes to create a smooth and memorable journey.

Working closely with guests, camp teams, guides, and safari operators also gave us a deeper knowledge of Tanzania’s destinations. Our experience extends across both the Northern and Southern Circuits, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Mikumi, Ruaha, Udzungwa, and Nyerere National Park.

Over time, these experiences brought together a team with different skills, knowledge, and perspectives. This became the foundation of Sundown Expeditions Company Limited — a locally based travel company created to offer thoughtful, well-organized, and authentic experiences across Tanzania. Our company is operating in tourism industry for 2+ years up to date.

Today, we bring together practical field experience and personalized travel planning to create wildlife safaris, mountain trekking, cultural experiences, and beach holidays. We listen to our guests, understand what they are looking for, and use our local knowledge to help them travel with confidence.

We also believe that tourism should benefit the places and people we visit. Through our commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism, we support conservation awareness and seek meaningful ways to contribute to local communities through giving back to the community whenever its possible.
