This adventure takes you to Serengeti National Park and the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From the endless plains of the Serengeti filled with incredible wildlife to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and rich Maasai culture, this safari offers an unforgettable combination of game viewing, stunning landscapes, and authentic cultural experiences.

Day To day

Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional representative from SUNDOWN EXPEDITIONS. After a short briefing about your safari adventure, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive of approximately 1 hour (50 km) to Arusha town, known as the safari gateway of northern Tanzania. The drive offers your first glimpse of Mount Meru, lush coffee plantations, and the bustling life of small local villages along the route.
Once in Arusha, you will have time to relax, recover from your flight, and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a brief city tour of Arusha, visit the Cultural Heritage Centre, or enjoy a quiet evening soaking in the ambiance of the Tanzanian highlands. Dinner will be served with a delightful selection of local and international dishes, giving you your first taste of Tanzanian hospitality.

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination. The journey offers beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley, local villages, and the scenic landscapes of Northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive while exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. During your safari, you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and a variety of bird species.

Later in the evening, you will drive to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full-Day Game Drive In Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring different areas of this world-renowned ecosystem. The park offers outstanding wildlife viewing throughout the year, with opportunities to witness predators and large herbivores in their natural habitat.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive through the spectacular Serengeti landscapes.

Later in the afternoon, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will arrive at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Often referred to as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species.

After the game drive, you will enjoy a cultural experience where you will learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Maasai community before beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Upon arrival in Arusha, your memorable Northern Tanzania safari adventure will come to an end.
