After breakfast, embark on your first chimpanzee trekking adventure. With the guidance of experienced trackers, you will venture deep into the forest to observe chimpanzees in their natural environment. Learn about their behavior, social dynamics, and conservation efforts. Return to camp for lunch, then enjoy a nature walk or bird watching in the afternoon.
Spend a full day trekking through different parts of the park, increasing your chances of encountering more chimpanzee troops and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby local village to experience the culture and traditions of the communities surrounding Gombe.
