Travel from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam by ferry boat before beginning your exciting safari journey to Mikumi National Park and Nyerere National Park. Enjoy scenic landscapes, exciting game drives, and unforgettable wildlife encounters while traveling comfortably in a 4×4 pop-up roof safari jeep.

Day To day

Day 1
Zanzibar To Dar Es Salaam Then Drive To Mikumi National Park

Early in the morning, you will take a ferry boat from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam where you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide.

After a short safari briefing, you will depart toward Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 5 to 6 hours through the scenic landscapes of Southern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive while exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Mikumi National Park. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, antelopes, and many bird species.

Later in the evening, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park To Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Mikumi and continue your safari journey toward Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve.

The drive takes approximately 6 to 7 hours through local villages, countryside landscapes, and beautiful Southern Tanzania scenery.

Upon arrival, you will check in at your safari camp and enjoy some time to relax before dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Full-Day Game Drive In Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive inside Nyerere National Park.

You will explore different wildlife areas while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, hyenas, wild dogs, and many bird species.

Your professional safari guide will take you through the best wildlife viewing areas while sharing information about the park and its ecosystem.

You will enjoy your picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

Later in the evening, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Nyerere National Park To Dar Es Salaam Then Ferry To Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam while enjoying scenic countryside views along the way.

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal for your boat ride back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your Southern Tanzania safari adventure.
